2 Wish Upon A Star is an ever expanding charity which is presently based in South Wales. It was established back in 2012 in memory of Paul and George Burke.
George was a one year old boy who passed away suddenly and traumatically at the Royal Glamorgan Hospital. 5 days later the unimaginable happened and his young father Paul died too. He fell to his death in tragic circumstances.
The charity aims to support families who experience sudden loss and help them through the most difficult times. Please have a look at www.2wishuponastar.org for more details.
In support of this very special charity I am getting on my bike and cycling 120 miles from Miskin to Taunton, leaving Miskin at 9.00 am on Friday 30th May. I hope to raise £500.
Please, please help me raise my target amount so that, together with another 171 cyclists, I can help this most worthy cause.
No parents should have to face the loss of their child alone. We can change that by working together to make a difference.
Sam Warburton and Andries Pretorius will be starting us off, and will be available to sign autographs from 8.30am.
If you would like to wave us off then come along to Miskin from 8am on Friday 30 May. There will be refreshments, face painting, peppa pig and maybe doc mc stuffins there as well!
