Exciting news!
We are so pleased to announce, that after 2 years of fundraising, there is now a community defibrillator positioned outside the school gates at Penygawsi Primary School! This can be accessed any time of day or night by anyone in need.
This has been one of the PTA’s biggest fundraising challenges over the last few years, with costs amounting to over £2,700. We are so grateful to say we’ve managed to reach this target via successful funding applications to the Co-operative and Llantrisant Community Council, and via the support of you, our generous Penygawsi families, through events and activities in the school!
We’re incredibly grateful for all of the support - we couldn’t have done it without you! A huge and heartfelt thank you to everyone that has contributed to making our community that bit safer ❤️!
We hope to be able to offer training opportunities in the future, so watch this space!
