PTA minutes - 23 January 2018

Welcome present, Rebecca, Kerstin, Alison, Gemma, Kate James, Christina, Tim
New parents were welcomed (all have nursery children) Hannah, Laura, Rhian – who also has a food hygene certificate!)
Apologies from Gar Yee and Laura.

Christmas fair – all positive feedback bar the congestion in the hall, need to use Y2 class next year to spread out class craft stalls.
 

Valentines Disco – Can we do it same night as governors 14^th Feb if they use the porter cabins? answer is yes – we need to book DJ ASAP

Cinema night – 8^th March 5.45pm for a 6pm start (£3 charge for entry with food and drink?) Mr Ball to source film through our affiliation with INTOFILM Cymru.

Easter event – Fun Run – do on same the day as Sport relief day 23^rd March and do the fun run straight after school buy raffle tickets

KS2 Quiz – June 7^th 6pm – Mr Ball to co-ordinate with KS2 staff.

Summer fair – Friday 29^th June 2018, are we doing inflatables this year?
 

Leavers do - Golf Club – Thursday 12^th – 7 – 9pm – can we check this date and book. Agree not to spend so much money on food to save costs (as Y6 haven’t eaten much in the past two years)

AOB: Masquerade ball – Bring it up in FACE meeting so class reps can chase up parents.
